Week Without Driving

Drain, of 228 East Court Street, described the local Week Without Driving observance (October 1-8), its planning partners, the Main Street banner going up October 5, and the October 8 celebration at Wooster Green.

Hayes, of 608 East Wooster Street, outlined BGSU Campus Sustainability's events: an October 1 lunch-and-learn and pizza in the student union, an online pledge, and GoBus voucher drawings at the October 8 celebration.

Urged the commission to address drivers failing to stop at crosswalks, faded crosswalk paint, and pedestrian signal timing downtown, and promoted the Week Without Driving observance October 1–8 organized by BG Save Our Neighborhoods.
